Peter Clough from Friends of Tomaree Headland, formed earlier this year to advocate the value of the headland, will outline the group's plan for it at Tomaree Community Centre on Sunday, March 17 from 2pm.
Residents of Tomaree Lodge, located on the headland at Shoal Bay, are expected to move into group homes by the end of this year.
Friends of Tomaree have been holding talks with the NSW Government about the precinct’s future.
Environmental advocacy group EcoNetwork-Port Stephens will conduct the forum, which is open to the public to attend.
Also presenting at the forum will be Frank Future from Imagine Cruises, who will discuss the "folly of offshore aquaculture".
There will be an opportunity to ask questions after each session.
For more information about the forum contact Nigel Dique, secretary of EcoNetwork-Port Stephens, on 0423 024 819 or email secretary@econetworkps.org.
