Now in its 24th year, the fair will move forward from its traditional time slot of Saturday to Friday evening, turning it into a twilight festival.
The twilight festival will be held on the school grounds in Salamander Bay on March 29 from 3pm to 8pm.
While there has been a change in day and time, all the fair favourites will still be present.
The festival will incorporate many favourite attractions and stalls including a side-show alley, book fair, some of the Hunter's favourite food trucks for a variety of culinary delights and rides for children of all ages.
The main stage, sponsored by Shoal Bay Country Club, will showcase Port and Hunter talent as well as internationally renowned DJ duo Mashd N Kutcher.
Afterwards, the DJ duo of Matt Ough and Adam Morris will head to Shoal Bay Country Club for a show.
The twilight festival will culminate with a fireworks finale at 7.45pm.
