Great news for the club is two of their rising stars, Jack Vincent and Boston Kerapa, will represent NSW Combined High Schools (CHS) in a tour of South Africa in late April.
The sevens summer series concludes on Friday night at Newcastle No. 2 Sportsground.
Nelson Bay girls under-17 team coached by Dion Cooper is in the mix with a top four finish.
The juniors start their season on Saturday.
The only home game is the under-14s coached by Troy Atkinson. The other nine teams travel away.
Port Stephens rugby league teams begin their season this Saturday.
Fingal Bay is the only Port club in A-grade of the Newcastle and Hunter Rugby League competition this season.
The Bomboras play the Cardiff Cobras away on Saturday.
The Fingal Bay ladies tag team travel to Aberglasslyn.
Raymond Terrace Magpies drop to C-grade and play Budgewoi at Lakeside.
The Ravens, Raymond Terrace's ladies tag team, play Awabakal at Walters Park.
Mallabula Panthers are also in C-grade and play the Kearsley Crushers at home.
The Panthers ladies A-grade tag team play West Wallsend.
Karuah Roos are at home to Paterson River.
Dungog host Clarence Town, Stroud host Hinton and Tea Gardens host Maitland.
