Community radio station, Port Stephens FM, on the hunt for new presenters

Community radio station Port Stephens FM is on the hunt for new volunteer presenters. The 24-hour station, based at Salamander Bay, has been promoting Port Stephens news, events and community groups for 25 years.

"Port Stephens FM 100.9 supports the community and encourages involvement of the community in its programs," station president Paddy Twohill said.

"Community groups can advertise their events and services with us free of charge by way of our bulletin board and in studio announcements by our presenters. [With] new plans being initiated, we need some more presenters to cover our programs.

"We will fully train you and support you in the process," Mr Twohill said. "We will make sure that you are fully confident before you go to air."
