Dane Queenan is a name synonymous with property in the Port Stephens region, so it's perhaps unsurprising that he and his team have raised the bar in national real estate, at the recent PRD National Annual Awards.

Director/principal Dane, along with principal Bruce Gair and selling agents Rebecca Dean, David Schmarr and Graham Schmarr scooped a number of awards at the recent ceremony, including placing third agent nationally against some fierce competition across the nation.
Dane was ranked the number one selling principal Australia wide and also received a High Altitude Sales Award - the highest ranking given to selling agents for the calendar year sales in 2018.
Rebecca is ranked number four in the country while David and Graham were awarded with silver sales awards for their achievements.
Bruce Gair - also received the Harvey Douglas Award for his dedication and commitment into the franchise over the last twenty years.
"Our team stands out because of their enthusiasm, drive and sheer focus on achieving great outcomes for owners, " began Dane.
"The culture within our office is very energetic and we push each other to strive for nothing but success for our clients and in turn ourselves."
He went on to acknowledge that a strong market along with the combined 150 years of local expertise was a winning formula for the office.
"Our office started the year with huge momentum, having had one of the best starts to the year that we've ever had.
"Although there's negative press in the market, especially in Sydney, here we've been affected only slightly and so our sales stay strong.
"Couple that with our relentless hard work and team collaboration we are expecting a great year."
While the popular holiday spot has always enjoyed strong interest from out of town buyers, He said the number of locals now looking to move is on the rise.
" We have more locals buying because they are seeing that the market has stabilised somewhat.
"Time on market is at around six weeks and while prices have adjusted somewhere by between 5 and 10 percent, sales are reflecting realistic prices now rather than inflating expectations."
With this leveling of the market and an even balance of buyers versus vendors, many more properties are achieving success by Auction in the area.
"Auction is absolutely the best way to achieve a great result for our clients." Added Dane.
With a close knit team of 8 in the office and an approach that 'leaves no stone unturned', it's little wonder that this agency has placed this beautiful coastal town firmly on the property map.
