Mr Leigh has been invited by Paterson MP Meryl Swanson to discuss the proposed changes to the tax system and respond to residents' concerns at the Muree Golf Club in Raymond Terrace from 10.30am to 11.30am.
"Since they were announced, Labor's proposed changes to dividend imputation credits and negative gearing have attracted a lot of attention," Ms Swanson said.
"I've heard from several members of our community who have asked if and how these changes will affect them. This will be an opportunity to ask questions to Mr Leigh, who has offered to come and talk to residents.
"Someone once told me that the one of the scariest days of your life is the day you wake up and realise you will never earn another dollar in your life. I understand that, and I want my community to have the opportunity to understand these changes and plan for their future.
"This is an opportunity for the people of Paterson to ask questions about these changes and understand why they're being made."
Residents of Paterson are invited to attend. Priority on the day will be given to those who RSVP. How to RSVP:
