What: Experience Raymond Terrace and historical King Street as it was in the 1800 and 1900s. The festival encourages its attendees to dress up in vintage clothes, take part in traditional games, learn about and enjoy the historical value of Raymond Terrace's King Street in a day of fun and entertainment. Attendees can also have any antiques valued on the day.

Middle Rock N Roll Festival
Where: Middle Rock Holiday Resort, One Mile

Cost: $33 adults, $12 per child (4-15 years)

What: The resort has partnered with Nelson Bay Rock 'n' Roll Club to present the first of what is hoped to become a yearly event, the Middle Rock 'n' Roll Festival. The day will include a 1950's car show n shine, pop pin-up stalls and a fashion parade, hair and makeup artists, memorabilia stalls, food vans, bar, coffee and a dance floor.

Fire and Rescue NSW Open Day
Where: Salamander Bay Fire Station (Salamander Way) and Raymond Terrace Fire Station (Leisure Way)
When: Saturday, May 18
Time: 10am-2pm
Cost: Free
What: The Port's two Fire and Rescue NSW stations will open their doors to give the public the chance to meet firefighters, learn more about what they do every day and to check out fire trucks and firefighting equipment.

Australian Open FootGolf Series
Where: Horizons Golf Resort, Salamander Bay
When: Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19
Time: Saturday 1.30pm tee off, Sunday 7am tee off
Cost: Free to spectators, $30-$100 for players

What: Horizons will host stage six of the Australian Open FootGolf Series across the weekend. The competition is for men, women, juniors, seniors and amateurs. The event is a great opportunity for players and spectators to see the full 18-hole Horizons FootGolf course before the Asia Cup in November.
Port Stephens Triathlon Festival
Where: One Mile, Boat Harbour, Anna Bay
When: Saturday, May 18
Time: 6.30am-2pm
Cost: Free to spectators
What: The triathlon offers three different races including the popular superhero race. There are road closures in place on the day.

Mallabula Panthers' day of league
Where: Mallabula Sports Complex, Lemon Tree Passage Road, Mallaubula
When: Saturday, May 18
Time: From 12pm noon
Cost: Free to spectators
What: The juniors kick off at noon followed by the ladies tag and then the Panthers', which will also be a reunion for former junior and senior players to support and celebrate rugby league on the peninsular.

Karuah Roos, Rooetttes at home
Where: Lionel Morten Oval, Kaurah
When: Saturday, May 18
Time: First game at 12.50pm
Cost: Free to spectators
What: The Karuah Rooettes (women's team) and Roos (men's team) face Maitland United at home on Saturday. The Rooettes play at 12.50pm and the Roos at 2pm.
Tilligerry Motorama
Where: Tilligerry RSL Sports Club, Tanilba Bay
When: Sunday, May 19
Time: 10am-3pm
Cost: Gold coin
What: Tilligerry Auto Club's annual car, bike and trike show. More than 400 vehicles on display throughout the day, which doubles as a fundraiser for the John Hunter Children's Hospital. Raffles, live entertainment, food and best on show awards.

Nelson Bay Sharks home game

What: Fresh from their first win of the season last Sunday, the Nelson Bay Sharks ladies tag team will face Macquarie Scorpions at home.

Fundraiser for Hunter Horse Haven
Where: Bull N Bush Hotel, Medowie
When: Sunday, May 19
Time: 1pm to 4pm
What: Hunter Horse Haven volunteers are organising the sanctuary's first ever fundraising event at the Medowie Bull N Bush hotel on Sunday. The afternoon will feature face painting, live music, balloons, photography and a big raffle.
