Boat Harbour siblings Kaylah and Hayden Pisani plus Daniel Wilson, from Anna Bay, were three of six Port Stephens District Bodyboarders members that contested the NSW Bodyboard State Titles in Kiama at the start of May.
Kaylah shone in the open women's division posting a solid 14.00 two-wave total to get the upperhand against 2018 Australian champion and friend Millie Chalker (Tuncurry).
Kaylah found a handful of solid waves in the heat that allowed her to perform an exciting array of moves and post the aforementioned score.
Her bother Hayden took out second place in the junior division (for under-18s), just behind Wilson who also won the cadets division to become the club's second title winner for the weekend.
Chad Pisani from Boat Harbour made the masters (over-35s) semi final, as did One Mile's Jack Grainger in the juniors division. Nathan Price from Salamander Bay made the quarter finals in the opens division.
Competitors battled for state titles in windy and rainy conditions.
The Pisani siblings and Wilson will contest the Australian Bodyboard Titles on the Tweed Coast from August 24-27.
