The Streams of Melody concert, which will be held at Soldiers Point Bowling Club from 2pm on Saturday, June 15, is the community choir's major fundraising activity for the year.
Money raised allows the group to continue providing quality, affordable entertainment to Port residents.
Tickets to the June 15 concert cost $25 per person or $20 concession. Children under 12 are free. Tickets are available now from the bowling club or can be purchased on the day at the door of the club's auditorium.
The Streams of Melody concert is a prelude to a choral festival that will be held on the weekend of October 22-27.
Choirs from Japan and the US will join the SeaSide Singers and six to eight other Hunter regional choirs for choral workshops and a public concert.
In the meantime, the SeaSide Singers are looking to appoint someone to the position of accompanist to the choir for Tuesday night rehearsals and all performances.
If you are interested, phone Jeanette Antrum on 0418 266 393.
The choir is building on the high profile it earned last year with its tour of Japan and welcomes new members.
Practices are held at Tomaree Community Centre every Tuesday night from 7pm.
No auditions are required, just a love of music, particularly singing together.
