A gala day involving Mini Roos, those in the under-6 age group, up to under-11s from clubs around Port Stephens and the Hunter have been invited to take part in a gala day by hosts Raymond Terrace Soccer Club.
"Following on from our popular girls soccer clinics, we wanted to host an all girls gala day, which was also a celebration of the Women's World Cup," Holly Moore from the Raymond Terrace club said.
"It's also Rebel Female Football Week that week, so this really is just one big celebration of women in football.
"The gala day will be a fantastic opportunity for for girls to further their skills, meet some new friends and have a day full of fun."
More than 300 girls are expected to play in the day-long gala at King Park Sporting Complex on Sunday, June 30.
About 40 girls from Raymond Terrace will play in the gala, which will begin at 9am.
Other clubs due to participate include Weston, Maryland-Fletcher, Tilligerry, Nelson Bay, Maitland, Cooks Hill, Warners Bay, Lochinvar, Wallsend, Charlestown, Stockton and Lambton.

Clubs wishing to participate in the gala are being invited to get in touch as soon as possible with Kristie Medway on 0457 815 539 or email rtscgala@gmail.com.
Players must be registered with a club to be able to participate.
The Terrace club is also seeking sponsorship for the day. In particular, a sponsor is being sought to cover the $600 junior referee match payments for the day.
Raymond Terrace Soccer Club has had a 100 per cent increase in female participation in the past five years.
There are 448 player registered with the club this year.
Of that number, 88 are female.
Rod Landers, the senior women's coach, is also the club's female participation officer.
Raymond Terrace has three Mini Roos teams that train on a Monday.
The aim, Moore said, is to increase its female numbers to the point that there is female representation in all grades.
"We're trying to grow the number and skill in the younger girls so we can eventually have female representation everywhere in the club," Moore said.
Everyone who participates in the Raymond Terrace female gala day will receive a gala day trophy.
