While the limited spots for the clinics filled up fast and are now closed to registrations, the community is invited to attend a Swifts open training session at Tomaree Education Centre on Tuesday, July 2 - day two of their July 1-3 visit.
The Swifts will be training in the school hall 5.30pm-7.15pm.
"We are delighted to be heading to Port Stephens next month for what promises to be wonderful trip," Nikki Horton, NSW Swifts general manager, said.
"While logistics mean most of our games are played in Sydney, we are... a team that proudly represents the whole state so it's very important that we visit the regions.
"We did a similar trip last season to the West Central West region of the state and were blown away by the reception our players and staff were given.
"Port Stephens is one of the most beautiful parts of NSW, with a passionate netball community, and I know this trip will provide amazing, life-long memories for our players and young fans like."
The Swifts, now on a break from the Suncorp Super Netball league season for the World Cup (July 12-21), are being hosted by Port Stephens Council and the Raymond Terrace and Nelson Bay netball associations.
Port Stephens Netball Association, based in Raymond Terrace, will host the Swifts for a coaching development clinic on Monday, July 1, while Nelson Bay Netball Association will host the team at its Tomaree Sports Complex courts on Tuesday, July 2, for a community clinic and signing session - before the open training session.
Registrations for the workshop and clinic have closed.
"Council is very proud to support the Swifts' regional development camp and the Port Stephens community have gone above and beyond to make them feel welcome," Janelle Gardner from the council said.
"The local sporting clubs, schools and businesses have come together to accommodate the Swifts' players and their staff.
"Thou Walla Sunset Retreat will also be hosting the Swifts during their stay. It really has been a team effort to make this visit a reality.
"This is not only a great opportunity for our local netball community but also for Port Stephen overall.
"The NSW Swifts have a large online presence and while here, they will be promoting the best of Port Stephens to their audience."
Port Stephens Mayor Ryan Palmer added that the Swifts' visit was "exciting" and a "fantastic opportunity" for young netballers.
"This a fantastic opportunity for our future netball superstars to learn new techniques, meet the players and get insight into the world of professional sport," he said.
