Board member Chris Mawson and Warren Moses from the pro shop coordinate intensive clinics on a weekly basis, which has seen the club have outstanding success in the district junior pennant series.
Junior golf receives financial assistance from a group of club members called the Dirty Dozen who, despite their name, is 20 people strong. The group fund raise throughout the year.
The Dirty Dozen honour two of their group, Warren and Brian Diemar, with a trophy in their name, which is awarded at the end of every term to the most promising junior. Recently it went to Mitchell White.
The Diemars are foundation members who did the hard yards as volunteers in the early days of the club.
This year is the fifth the Dirty Dozen have been associated with the development of junior golf with a total of $5000 being allocated for extra tuition and buying equipment to up-and-coming golfers.
