A day of community, fun and friendship brought more than 3000 people together in Williamtown on Friday for Murrook Culture Centre's annual NAIDOC Week event.

Held on the grounds of the new-look centre along Nelson Bay Road, the public had the opportunity to enjoy a mostly free day out that included activity stations for children, give aways, live entertainment, a free sausage sizzle and rides, plus access to a wide variety of information from stalls.
The family fun day traditionally caps off NAIDOC Week in Port Stephens.
