The Bay girls struggled to get any go forward, going down to the Seagulls 24-0. The day was marred by a horrific knee injury to their most consistent player Michelle Wainwright and scans this week will decide her playing future.
Players' player Hayley Dufor was the best in a beaten team. The sharks will hold a meeting on Thursday, August 29, at 7pm at the Salamander sports complex to outline plans for 2020.
The Sharks are seeking trainers, strappers, volunteers, coaches and players as the Sharks endeavour to field an under-19 and open grade side in the Newcastle competition nest season, in addition to its ladies tag team.
