Penshorn and band will tour a musical tribute to Diamond to Wests Nelson Bay diggers on Friday, August 23.
Diamond's most popular songs including Solitary Man, Cherry Cherry, Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon, Holly Holy, Sweet Caroline, Kentucky Woman and Crunchy Granola Suite will feature in the two big sets that create the popular tribute show.
Penshorn's show is considered to be an experience - one that is visually stunning and musically superb. The Novacastrian not only emulates the distinct voice of Neil Diamond, he puts on a performance that is second to none.
Audiences will be treated to a memorable night of music as Penshorn and his band celebrate the 47th anniversary of the recording of Hot August Night, done on August 24, 1972. Tickets cost $30 for members and $35 for guests. Doors open at 7.15pm for an 8pm start.
