A GoFundMe with a goal of raising $10,000 for the teen's family was established following the fatal collision, which is under police investigation, on August 6, along with a roadside memorial.
Brennan's loved ones gathered for vigil at the memorial near the Mount Hall Road and Clyde Circuit intersection on August 7, lighting candles in memory of the Irrawang High School student who has been described as being a "much loved part of the community" and known for his "cheeky grin".
The teenager died after he was dragged under a turning bus, which was carrying school students, at the same intersection about 8.30am last Tuesday.
Despite the best efforts of emergency crews, Brennan could not be saved, police said.
Funds raised through the 'Support for the Nean/Garvey Family' GoFundMe will be used to help Brennan's family with funeral costs.
