Club president Ben Reynolds paid special mention to the under 16 division 1 side, coached by Dean Gibson, which took out the minor premiership.
"We have excelled this season both on and off the field, courtesy of a committed committee, excellent coaching, fantastic volunteers and of course our large group of dedicated players, both male and female," Reynolds said.
"We urge as many people as possible to support our players as they contest the finals series."
Reynolds said that the club had based its motto in 2019 on three pillars: community spirit (contribution to society and value proposition); player and coach development (football footprint); and healthy mind and body (social responsibility and platform).

"Some of the initiatives in 2019 have included introduction to football 'come & try' clinics, skills training certificates for coaches, pre-season skills clinic, Jets McDonald's clinic, increase in female participation, junior girls training with Jets coach and players, goalkeeping clinic, FIFA training and video sessions.
"The club has also participated in a number of charity days including Jupiter Round (mental health awareness) and the inaugural Danny Brennan charity day (trial against Raymond Terrace for Beyond Blue).
"The club has also partnered with the Jupiter program run by the Caring of Port Stephens Youth group."
Some of the upcoming events include the Aldi mini-roos mixed and girls football program, which will run for eight weeks in Term 4 for children aged 4-9, and the Nelson Bay Football six-a-side summer tournament to start in early October on Monday nights for the under 12 to 15 age groups.
"The mini-roos is a Northern NSW eight-week introductory football program while the summer tourney is open to both males and females."
The club's end of year charity gala dinner will be held on Saturday, September 14, from 6-11pm at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club, featuring Lawrie McKinna (Newcastle Jets CEO) as special guest speaker and include a fundraiser for the Jupiter program.
McKinna has been widely praised for his professionalism since taking over the Newcastle Jets A-League club.
Prior to his Jets appointment, McKinna spent time as CEO at the Central Coast Mariners and four years as mayor of Gosford.
Tickets at $50 for the gala dinner, which includes the seniors presentation, are available from the club on 4981 1272.
People are urged to purchase their tickets before August 31 to avoid disappointment.
