The Marlins under 14 years girls side recorded an impressive win over Newcastle to progress straight through to the grand final to be decided on Father's Day. The Bay girls will enjoy the weekend off as they prepare for the decider on September 1.
The under 17 boys kept their grand final hops alive, defeating Cardiff 53-28 in the elimination semi-final played at Dick Burwell Oval on Sunday.
The side will meet Newcastle in the preliminary final next Sunday, with the winner advancing to the September 1 grand final.
The Bay's under 11 boys put in a strong performance before going down to Newcastle in a hard-fought semi-final.
The club also celebrated some AFL game milestones on the weekend, including Lachlan Blyth with 150 games; Aidan Mulder 100 games; Kai Donaldson 100 games; Sarah Gray 50 games; and Tom Hammond 50 games.
