In an inspired team effort, produced at their home field of Lakeside, Ravens Cynthia Wooderson and Reanna Betwell were standouts.
Saturday's A-grade tag result sets up a must win minor semi-final for the Ravens, who are coached by Paul Marquet.
The semi-final will see the Ravens go head-to-head with the Fingal Bay Bomboras ladies, who went down 18-0 to a slick University outfit at Lakeside on Saturday.
The Fingal ladies, playing a qualifying final, were in the contest at half time but were unlucky not to convert several try scoring opportunities in to points.
The Bomboras trailed 6-0 at half time.
The team put in a spirited performance in the second half however the students' speed on the edges was hard to contain.
Players' player for the Bomboras went to a non-stop Lauren Ogilvie.
Bec Hawthorn and Grace Parfitt had strong games.
At Vince Woodman Oval, the Mallabula Panthers B-grade ladies league tag team lost to Wangi 26-4 in the elimination final.
The Panthers ladies finished their season fifth on the ladder.
In the other B-grade game, also played at the Mallabula oval, West Wallsend defeated Cardiff 12-6.
The Ravens and Bomboras will face each other at Lakeside on Saturday from 4.40pm.
