Additionally, Yamaha will sponsor the FIFG 250 World Tour which will be held at Horizons Golf Resort in Salamander Bay immediately following the Asia Cup.
The partnership is hoped to boost the profile of motorcycle riding amongst youths and FootGolf, a relatively new hybrid sport in Australia.
"We are pleased to welcome Yamaha as a major sponsor and naming rights partner of the 2019 FootGolf Asia Cup," Leonardo Fernandez, president of FootGolf Australia, said.
"Yamaha is a well known brand with close associations to leading sports around the world. We hope to develop stronger ties with Asia Pacific countries with the aim of growing FootGolf across the region."
The Yamaha 2019 FootGolf Asia Cup will be held at Horizons between November 18 and 22.
The event will see the best FootGolf talent from 10 Asia Pacific countries on display and provide a chance for Australian players to showcase their skills on home turf.
Players will be competing for individual and team honours. Team events cover mens, ladies and seniors divisions.
The FootGolf Asia Cup will be followed by the World Tour event running November 23-24, which is open to players from 40 countries.
"We are excited to be the naming rights sponsor of the 2019 FootGolf Asia Cup. Yamaha Motor Corporation supports sport around the world and this is just another event we are very proud to be associated with," Yamaha Motor Australia director Taka Kaieda said.
"We look forward to seeing players from many nations competing to be the Asian champion."
The FootGolf Asia Cup is a free event, which organisers said ensured that there would be no barriers to the community experiencing the tournament.
There will be activities available for the community around the Asia Cup including free FootGolf clinics and a new bLU cRU kids experience for children aged 5 to 10 years hosted by Yamaha.
The bLU cRU kids experience is a rare opportunity for children to enjoy laps within a supervised test arena on Yamaha's PW50, TT-R50 and YFZ50 machines all with the expert guidance of accredited coaches.
