Every day is a great day to visit Impact Stockfeeds and Saddlery, but Saturday, September 14 will be extra special.
That is when the store will throw open its doors for Spring Sale Day, a wonderful opportunity for customers to pick up a bargain, learn more about the vast array of products on offer and perhaps even win a lucky door prize.
Formerly known as Raymond Terrace Rural Traders, Impact Stockfeeds and Saddlery specialises in feed for just about any animal you can think of including horses, chickens, birds, cats, dogs, rabbits and cows.
It also stocks fertilisers, weed and pest control products and, naturally, a vast array of saddlery items and clothing.
Coming from an equine background, owner Jeannie Smith has a real passion for what she does.
She is at the helm of a team of five who share her mission to deliver excellent customer service and match customers with the right products to suit their individual needs.
That outstanding service and the team's product knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile are just some of the reasons to deal with Impact Stockfeeds and Saddlery, Jeannie said.
"We also offer a convenient delivery service that runs through the week delivering to Newcastle, Great Lakes, Port Stephens, Hawks Nest, Karuah, Bulahdelah and the Central Coast," she said.
"This is not only great for people who can't make it into the store, it is handy for those who aren't able to manage bulky items or are unable to fit them into their own vehicle. We deliver so they don't have to struggle with it themselves."
Jeannie said feedback from satisfied and repeat customers indicated they appreciated the "modern facilities" and competitive prices, especially given Impact Stockfeeds and Saddlery was a specialist store.
And with spring now upon us, thoughts naturally turn to gardens and Impact Stockfeeds and Saddlery is indeed a one-stop shop for all of your fertiliser and weed and pest control needs.
Similarly, it coincides with breeding season for horses so it is also an ideal time to source all of your specialised feeding supplements.
Jeannie loves living and working locally, and says it is not only a satisfying feeling being able to contribute to the local economy by providing jobs in the region, she personally enjoys the store's friendly environment and the satisfaction of helping her customers.
Spring Sale Day visitors will be able to tap into the expertise of representatives from Hygain/Mitavite, Bayer and GT Performer, plus a weeds expert from Port Stephens Council.
Don't forget to bring your four-legged friend either, because Aussie Pooch Mobile will have a $20 dog wash and $10 nails special (bookings are essential).
A coffee van and sausage sizzle will also be on-site.
