The Two Blues were too strong across the park winning 38-5 to send the Gropers to a sudden death final against Merewether-Carlton at No. 2 Sportsground on Saturday. Wanderers are now through to the premier three grand-final.
The Bay were off the pace in their match against the Wanderers, however have plenty of improvement in them despite their slow start.
Best in a beaten team was hooker George Fielder, centre Josh Evans and Mitchell Affleck.
On a positive note, a strong start against the Greens on Saturday could see the Gropers grand-final bound.
The Gropers had a strong win over Merewether-Carlton earlier in the season.
