All proceeds raised from the sale of raffle tickets and take aways from the Nelson Bay-based restaurant one night in August was donated to support group.

It is not the first time the restaurant, owned by Jade Lim and husband Peng, has supported the group. Last year a Sri Malaysia event raised $2000 for the support group.

Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group assists people who have breast cancer by providing free of charge driving to and from cancer related medical appointments in Newcastle and Maitland; telephone and face-to-face support; monthly meetings for networking with others experiencing similar treatments, as well as helping out in other ways on a case-by-case basis.
