The council is seeking input into its Port Stephens Youth Plan 2020-22 via an online survey and a photo mapping competition.
According to the council the plan will build on the achievements of the inaugural Port Stephens Youth Strategy 2015-2018 and provide a road map for Council to best support young people living in Port Stephens.
Council and its Youth Advisory Panel are currently seeking feedback from local young people that will help shape the future draft plan.
Participants are being encouraged to take a photo which represents one of the six themes from the proposed Port Stephens Youth Plan: Including us; Somewhere to live; Living green; Happy and healthy; Feeling safe; Skilled and ready.
Map the photo to the location and tell your story.
A $50 visa card voucher is on offer for the photo which will be voted the best for each theme (total available $300).
The photo mapping competition is open until October 31, 2019.
