The program kicks off at King Park on Thursday, October 17, and ends on February 27, with weekly games conducted from 4.30pm to 6pm.
The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket.
Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 10. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre.
For further information on either junior or master Blasters programs contact Dana Wells on 0400 854 014.
Raymond Terrace juniors and seniors, which play in the Maitland District competitions, start their 2019-2020 seasons on Saturday, October 12.
