Sean Richards Building, based in Taylors Beach, claimed the top gong in the 2019 Housing Industry Association-CSR Housing and Kitchen and Bathroom Awards after impressing judges with the Bay home.
The judges' notes said the home, which is split across four levels, "demands attention".
"From the moment you arrive at the front gate you realise you are about to embark on a journey of wonder. Sean and his team have achieved a standard of excellence on this project to be proud of.
"Closely liaising with an architect with exacting standards, they have completed a home which will be a benchmark for others to follow."
Sean Richards Building also won awards in the Custom Built Home of the Year, Custom Built Home over $2 Million and Custom Built Home $700,001-$760,000 categories.
It comes on the back of winning the Renovation/Addition Project of the Year $500,001-$750,000 and Project Home up to $350,000 in the 2018 awards.
No strangers to the annual industry awards, Sean Richards Building has been consistently winning HIA awards for its projects for the past 10 years.
The HIA-CSR Hunter Housing and Kitchen and Bathroom Awards acknowledges the talent of designers, builders, suppliers and manufacturers who plan and construct quality new homes, townhouses, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor projects in the Hunter and Central Coast areas.
Judged by industry professionals, winners were selected in 26 separate categories.
Projects are judged on a range of specific criterion including quality of workmanship, design effectiveness, visual appeal, innovation and environmental sustainability.
HIA Hunter executive director Craig Jennion congratulated Sean Richards Building and all Hunter award winners and finalists.
Mr Jennion said the Soldiers Point home was an "incredible project"
"We have our fingers crossed that it will do well for the region at next year's Australian Housing Awards on the Gold Coast," he said.
"HIA members are dedicated to achieving the very best workmanship and standards in every project they undertake. HIA's Awards provide a tremendous opportunity for our members to showcase their projects and highlight building and design excellence."
