The forum is titled: 'The climate crisis: what can we do about it?'
The speakers include Jessica Morris, marine scientist and environmental officer from Port Stephens Council; Dr John Mackenzie, social scientist and policy consultant with 15 years' experience in academic, government and consulting roles; Alisha Onslow, co-founder of Climate Action Port Stephens; and John Simpson, ecologist and natural resources manager.
"Climate change, its impacts and what can be done to mitigate them are the essential talking points on the day," said EcoNetwork secretary Kathy Brown.
"The forum will provide a great opportunity to ask questions of experts in their field. Nothing is off the table."
