The hardware chain will again partner with GIVIT which aids local communities across Australia by working closely with charities, community groups and councils to ensure that support is directed where it's needed most.
Residents are encouraged to visit a store and purchase a sausage sandwich between 9am and 4pm.
GIVIT CEO Sarah Tennant said GIVIT was grateful to have Bunnings' support.
"We guarantee 100 per cent of all funds raised through Bunnings will be used to purchase essential items for those affected. We are also committed to purchasing locally wherever possible to support the economic recovery of these affected areas," she said.
In Port Stephens, Bunnings stores are located at Heatherbrae and Taylors Beach.
