Chief government negotiator Mathias Cormann needs support from Tasmanian independent Jacqui Lambie or the two One Nation senators in order to more easily deregister unions and ban officials.
"We will be working over the summer to gain the support of that one additional senator, or two addition senators, that we require in order to secure its passage," he told Sky News on Friday.
