The Sharks will face the Bulldogs in Kurri Kurri on Saturday. The game will kick off at 11.30am.
The Sharks under-19 team have assembled a strong squad of players with coach Andrew Chapman keen to test his troops after weeks on the training field.
Andrew will try different combinations and positional switches to decide on his final line up in April.
The Sharks ladies league tag team will play at 10.30am on Saturday with coach Kris Paton and manager Cassandra Robinson also using the the trial against the Bulldogs to fine tune their attacking options.
The ladies team still have several spots open in their squad for players wishing to join the elite competition.
Newcastle Rugby League will hold their season launch on March 21 at St John Oval in Charlestown.
The launch will include the All Stars game and representative trials.
In 2020, the Sharks will play their home games on Sundays with the ladies games starting at 10am and the under-19 men at 11am.
