Port Stephens police are appealing to the public for information following three suspicious car fires in Heatherbrae at the weekend.

Three cars were burned in three separate incidents in the early house of Saturday, March 21 which police believe are linked.
Emergency services were called to a motel on Kingston Parade, Heatherbrae about 1.20am on reports that a car was well alight in the carpark.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.
Then about 3am, emergency services were again called to the same location following reports a second vehicle was well alight. Fire crews attended and extinguished that blaze.
About an hour later, a third vehicle fire was reported and emergency services attended, with the blaze extinguished a short time later.
Port Stephens-Hunter Police District office have launched investigations into the causes of each of the suspicious blazes. However, detectives believe all three fires are linked.
Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between midnight and 4am on Saturday, March 21, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the nearby area around that time, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the online reporting portal nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
