With five professional podiatrists on staff, the clinic is the only QIP-accredited and registered podiatry practice in the Port Stephens area.

QIP (which stands for "Quality Innovation Performance") is an independent third party provided health services accreditation that indicates high standards of safety and quality.

All hospitals, day procedure services, most public dental services across Australia, and licensed cosmetic medical and surgical facilities in New South Wales are required to be QIP accredited.

Footprints Podiatry is also NDIS registered with a dedicated NDIS manager and provides a range of services for all age groups from children through to adults including general foot care, ingrown toe nail treatments, shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis, dry needling and diabetic assessments, diabetic foot care as well as home visits.

Piers Graham and Rory Chapman bought the business in October 2017 and in the last few years have recruited key personnel after identifying areas where they could improve patient outcomes.

Specialty services include Paediatric Podiatry, minor nail surgical procedures, injection therapy and techniques, bio-mechanical assessments and treatments of the lower limb, shock-wave therapy, dry needling and diabetic management.

"We believe very strongly in creating a happy team environment, with a clear focus on patient outcomes and continuing relationships with clients and other allied health services," Piers said.

"We also work closely with local sporting clubs and the community, and sponsor events like the Nelson Bay Golf Club's Ladies Breast Cancer Pink day and we also sponsor the Port Stephens Koala and Wildlife Preservation Society."

Footprints Podiatry is located at Shop 8, 3-5 Town Centre Circuit, Salamander Bay (two doors down from McDonalds). The new Anna Bay clinic will be located in the Anna Bay Allied Health Specialist Centre.
