A man will appear in court on Monday after two police officers were injured during an incident in Tanilba Bay last month.

Port Stephens police were called to an address in Tanilba Bay on the night of October 4 on reports of a 50-year-old woman allegedly being assaulted by a woman known to her, resulting in a dislocated shoulder and suspected fractured eye socket.
It is alleged that a second altercation then broke out at the premises between a 28-year-old male resident and three other males during which a 74-year-old woman was assaulted.
Police said a large amount of damage was sustained to the property and to a motor vehicle during the incident.
A short time later police attended another address, in Oyster Cove, and arrested a woman.
As they made the arrest, police said a man advanced on the officers "aggressively".
"Police attempted to place the male under arrest however he violently resisted. Officers sustained injuries as a result of being punched to the head and face, kicked to the head and chest," police said.
Defensive spray was used to subdue the man.
He was then taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station along with the woman who was arrested at the scene without incident.
The 33-year-old man was refused bail after being charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, malicious damage, assault police cause actual bodily harm, assault police and resist/hinder officer.
He remains in custody and is due in court on Monday, November 9 at Raymond Terrace.
