It's welcome news for the Nelson Bay football community after the club sat out from playing last season due to COVID-19.

The club's female participation officer, Martine Shaw, is seeking expressions of interest from girls teams in the 6 to 17 year old age group. The club attracted 16 junior teams before COVID ruined last season.

RAYMOND Terrace Rugby League Club has selected its coaches for 2021.
Brooke Roach will coach the men's team while the father and daughter duo of Paul and Maddie Marquet will once again coach the Ravens ladies league tag team.
The Magpies ladies tackle team will need an influx of players to field a team in 2021. Anyone interested is asked to contact the club for further details or to attend training.
The Terrace have fitness guru Matthew Sheals on board to put the teams through their paces. Players will be ready to roll by the early season start.
Training has started on Tuesday nights at Lakeside Sports Complex at 6pm.
FINGAL Bay Rugby League Club has set down early starts for their training days.
The ladies league tag team under coach Blaine O'Flaherty, who is keen to move his group from a major semi final spot of 2020 to a grand final berth this season, invites all returning and new players to attend training at Fingal Oval on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.30pm starting January 14.
The Bomboras men's team under coaching double John Gutherson and Dean Carney remind players their training gets underway at Fingal Oval from 6pm on Tuesday, February 2.
The club will retain the majority of their players after strong performances last year but is still recruiting quality players for the upcoming season.
MALLABULA Rugby League Club has retained their coaching staff for the next season.
Cameron Scully will mentor the men's team. Scott Holland is locked in to coach the ladies league tag team.
The Bula boys are looking to have several former players rejoin the club and with the bulk of last year's team returning, the Panthers looks set to produce a very competitive unit.
Training gets underway on Tuesday, January 19 at the Mallabula sports ground.
Holland's ladies league tag team will kick off season training on February 2 with the team ready to build on last season's success.
