Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre and Port Stephens Koalas will share in $8000 raised by the club through membership fees.
"Port Stephens is such a close-knit community and it is extremely important for us to connect with our locals and support them in any way we can," Shoal Bay Country Club director Peter Lazarus said.
"2020 was a challenging year for everyone and we have decided to give back to two great local charities who work tirelessly in the local community.
"The work of Port Stephens Koalas is incredibly important after it was reported that around 70 per cent of the entire NSW koala population was wiped out during the bushfires [in 2019-2020].
"Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre was also a no brainer as they provide support for local children and adults across so many different areas."
The neighbourhood centre, based out of Tomaree Library and Community Centre in Salamander Bay, provides community support across a range of areas including crisis support, women's, youth and Indigenous services and food assistance.
Port Stephens Koalas rescue, care and rehabilitate koalas at the new One Mile-based animal hospital and sanctuary.
Each year, Shoal Bay Country Club collects $10 from each member and selects two charities to donate the total sum to.
The donation is in addition to the support the country club provides to the Fingal Bay Bomboras rugby league team and other local sporting clubs and events.
