The expo, organised by nutritionist Chontelle Grecian and wellbeing practitioner Kerri Rodley and supported by a team of volunteers, was held at the Shoal Bay Convention Centre on Sunday, March 28.
The aim of the expo was to showcase what health and wellness options are available to residents within their own community, provide access to practitioners in the area and to position Port Stephens as a retreat location.
"People travel to Byron Bay and further afield for a retreat but they aren't aware of what is on their own doorstep," Ms Grecian said.
In addition to static displays, stallholders ran workshops and demonstrations in massage, nutrition, naturopathy, aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki, yoga and physiotherapy.
