The South Australian star's glowing warmth, husky tones, bawdy sense of humour and hundred-watt smile have helped make Cole one of the nation's best-loved and most celebrated artists.
She is also no stranger to Port Stephens, having toured to the blue water wonderland many times over the years including for the June long weekend country music festival.
Cole is set to return to Port Stephens on Sunday, May 23 when she brings her Wilder Tart Tour to Soldiers Point Bowling Club.
The show is celebrating the 20 years since the release of Wild At Heart - Cole's second studio album.
Released in 2001, it became a best seller and launched Cole into Australian country music stardom.
The country music star is touring with wife Libby O'Donovan who will perform before Cole hits the stage and with her during the second set of the night.
Songs such as Too Strong to Break, Storm In A D Cup, Lazy Bones and This Heart will all make a comeback in the Wilder Tart show along with the chart topping title track.
With 11 Golden Guitars from the prestigious Country Music Awards of Australia to her name, including five for Female Artist of the Year, as well as multiple ARIA Top 10 Country and Top 40 Mainstream albums, three gold-certified releases, and more than a dozen No.1 Australian country singles, Cole is one of Australia's most successful singer-songwriters.
She is also a most sought after live performer, having a reputation for bringing an audience to fever pitch and quite often, stomach clutching laughter.
A self-confessed 'gig pig', Cole is at her happiest on the road and entertaining Australian audiences.
Whether singing in front of - but not for - the American President, entertaining Australian troops in the Middle East or at the RSL of a small rural town, Cole has always given her all.
Tickets to see Cole cost $35, available from Soldiers Point Bowling Club.
Doors will open at 6.30pm on May 23.
