Club president Dean Morrison said that it was hoping to commence its regular club races on October 10, COVID-19 restrictions permitting.
With all the health and safety protocols in place, the women's only triathlon event is scheduled to be run on Sunday, November 7.
"The women-only event, a free race subsidised by the Tri Club and its sponsors, is aimed at novices and seasoned competitors alike," Morrison said.
"A variety of race distances will be offered to cater for all ages and abilities.
"It is an event designed to give women an introduction into triathlon and a glimpse of what the Tomaree club and the sport in general can offer once a month through the warmer seasons."
Morrison said that the format of the women's event will follow last year's, starting at the club's home base near the Bannisters carpark in Soldiers Point, from 8am.
"It will be open to females 15 years and over and there will be no pressure to perform, in fact we are promoting the trial as a day of fun and friendship," he said.
The club has put protocols in place to ensure the safety of competitors when conducting its regular monthly races which are scheduled to start on October 10.
Dates have been set for the summer season, with races to be held on November 14 (following the women's only event on November 7), December 12, then in 2022 on January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10 and finishing on May 8.
Club races start at 7am sharp.
Tomaree Tri Club swim director Graeme Chamberlain, who is an accomplished triathlete and ironman and was named the Port's 2018 Sportsperson of the Year, said that there were many benefits to giving triathlons a go plus a distance and format to suit anyone.
"All races have different categories, formats and distances available," he said.
"For those that aren't too keen on the water, we can offer a run, ride run, we also offer a swim, ride format.
"As well as the tradition triathlon format of swim, bike, run.
"Distances vary as well, starting from a 250m swim, 11km bike and a 3km run, through to our long course event - a 1km swim, 33km bike and a 9km run."
Apart from the health and fitness benefits, Tri club members have a lot of fun and organisers take very seriously the safety aspect when conducting events and club meets.
The club offers a variety of triathlon distance options.
The long course triathlon features a swim of 500m, bike leg of 22km and a run distance of 6km. The short course swim is 250m, bike 11km, run 3km.
The long course duathlon is a run 1.5km, bike 22km, run 6km while the short course duathlon is a run 1.5km, bike 11km, run 3km. The short course AquaBike features a swim of 250m, bike 11km, run 20m.
