Magnitude 6.1 quake shakes Japan's capital

A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.1 has jolted Tokyo and surrounding areas, stopping train lines and causing sporadic power cuts, but there were no reports of major damage, Japan's public broadcaster says.
