A family friendly market by the Fingal Bay foreshore featuring live music, more than 100 stalls with a variety of products and food vendors. A market that supports local makers and producers. Dog friendly. Children's playground nearby.
November 28: Neil Carroll Park, Nelson Bay. Time: 8am-2pm.
Held the second and fourth Sunday of the month. An outdoor market with a variety of stalls. The market will be held on December 12 and 26 (Boxing Day). The Australia Day markets will return January 26. Interested sellers can contact Tomaree Markets on Facebook.
Mental health forum
November 30: Shoal Bay Country Club. Time: 6.30pm-9.30pm. Cost: Free but bookings required.
ABC broadcaster Craig Hamilton will guest speak at a free Mental Health Matters forum. In his keynote presentation Craig covers a range of topics including his experience with bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression. NBN Television's Kate Haberfield will host the free community event which is being supported by Port Stephens Council.
