Brickfest at the Bay will be conducted over the weekend of Saturday, January 15 and Sunday, January 16, at Anna Bay Public School, running from 9am to 4pm each day.
Organiser Rainbow Bricks says it is excited to be back at Anna Bay and physically displaying again for the 12th annual 'Brickfest' in Port Stephens.
"We'll have many local creators showcasing their unique creations, collections of Lego, and other fantastic items you can't find anywhere else," organisers Kevin and Angela Evans said.
"We've been bringing together passionate builders from all over the Hunter region since 2011 - come meet them this year.
"Brickfest at the Bay is organised by volunteer fans who want to share their love with others. Attendees can enjoy a day of family-friendly fun at this unique event."
Due to the pandemic, this year's Brickfest at the Bay will be an all ticketed, COVID-safe structured festival with staggered start times and limited numbers per session.
The Evans's said in some ways, the new system would give attendees the opportunity to see more of the exhibits.
"We are encouraging prospective attendees to book a session quickly. In the past, between 1200 and 1400 people have visited Brickfest across the two days," Kevin and Angela said.
"We are proudly supporting the Tomaree Community Hospital Auxiliary this year with the profits from this community event. So interested people are urged to buy their tickets early. The cost is $7 a person [aged three and over] or $25 a family [two adults/two children or one adult/three children]."
There will be lots of new creations for everyone to enjoy, including city layout and lots of new buildings and creations. The event is believed to be the longest running Lego fan event in NSW.
The school is located at 191 Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay. For more information and to buy tickets go to the Brickfest at the Bay Facebook page.
