Individuals will no longer need to call ahead and book a drop off time, as has been the practice since October due to COVID-19.
Instead Port residents and ratepayers can roll up to the drop off location anytime during operation hours and days to dispose of their green waste.
The next green waste drop off day will be held in Lemon Tree Passage on Sunday, January 16 followed by Raymond Terrace and Salamander Bay on Sunday, January 23.
Green waste can be dropped off at Karuah and Lemon Tree Passage on Sunday, February 6.
The drop off locations are: Karuah, the vacant council land next to the Karuah Centre; Lemon Tree Passage, the old waste depot on Lemon Tree Passage Road; Raymond Terrace Newline Road Waste Facility and; Salamander Bay Waste Transfer Station.
