Two professional courts have benefited from a renovation so the squash club is looking better than ever.
Committee captain Tim Dowell is keen to get the word out.
"We currently have 30 members between the ages of 14 and 76 and more members are always welcome," he said.
In operation for 20 years, Tomaree Squash is also a social club with frequent barbecues.
"Whether you want to build your skills and climb the ladder or just show up and have fun, it's important that everyone should feel comfortable and relaxed," Dowell said.
Players of all skill levels from beginner to advanced are encouraged to join and personal training sessions are available.
Dowell described the sport's popularity as "all the rage 20 years ago".
He said the club presented the perfect opportunity for anyone, even old lovers of the sport who have not played in years, to get involved.
The complex is located on the corner of Government Road and Bullecourt Street, Shoal Bay.
