Port Stephens Police, in conjunction with Strike Force Raptor, executed a search warrant to access the clubhouse of the outlaw motorcycle gang in Wanya Place, Tea Gardens.
The search uncovered items suspected as being used for the sale and distribution of alcohol.
Police also seized everything in the clubhouse including a bath, fridge, pool table and a number of bar stools.
Police have told the head of the club that he and members are not to return to the site.
The Comancheros had a development application for a clubhouse refused by the Great Lakes Council in 2013.
The council ruled that the clubhouse was not socially consistent with the existing environment of Tea Gardens.
"Based on the club's publicly reported activities, [it] has the potential to significantly impact on the locality's fragile economy that relies heavily on tourism," a report by council staff stated.
An appeal against this decision has since been lodged with the Land and Environment Court.
Trevor Jennings of the Hawks Nest Tea Gardens Progress Association, which has been campaigning against the clubhouse, said he and the group were relieved about the raid.
"The progress association is very happy there has been some police action," he said.
He said the association was still concerned about the appeal in the Land and Environment Court.
It is understood the search warrant is legal for a 12-month period and can be put in place at any time if Comanchero members return.
