The annual competition for primary school students across the regional attracted more than 675 art works from schools in the area.
Thirteen winning entries were selected by each school and sent to the council to form a calendar for each school
The council also selected 13 overall winners to create a community calendar for free public download.
Eight-year-old Harry Clemson, of Tea Gardens Public School, was among the students picked for the wider community calendar.
His winning picture presents the koalas of the Myall Coast among the trees.
He, along with the 12 other winners from throughout the Great Lakes, were presented with an award by the mayor, Jan McWilliams, for their achievement.
