The athletes, who train either with Myall Coast Little Athletics Centre, Medowie Athletics Centre or Tea Gardens Runners, put in competitive performances at the Regional Little Athletics Championships held recently in the Central Coast.
Well-known Tea Gardens runner Carl Williams had not trained for six months, concentrating more on his studies.
Natural talent saw him win first place in the under-17s 800 metres and second place in the 1500 metres.
Leilani White, Luke Rochester and Tate Bruinsma have trained up to seven days a week since early December, only having Christmas off.
White made it for the 800 metres, 1500m metres and 3000 metres while Rochester and Tate made it for the 3000 metres.
Lilly-Ann White, who qualified in the under-9s for the 60 metre hurdles and 800 metres, thrives on competition.
Montanna Gessey will compete at state for the under-15s shot put.
The NSW State Little Athletics is held on March 21, 22 and 23 at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
