I have been a resident in Lemon Tree since June last year and until lately, I thought this place was relatively crime free.

Like many other fishos in the area, we all have a crab pot here or there, so why do these criminals see the necessity to steal what does not belong to them.

After all, they only cost $25.

Apparently, this practice is rife around the Easter holiday period with the influx of holiday makers.

So, good people of Lemon Tree, beware that you should not leave pots unattended or out of sight for too long as they may just happen to "walk away".

This is unfortunately, as nice as I can put my feelings across, as I don't believe the reality would go to print.

My faith in humanity is weakening by the day.
