The recent graduate of Juilliard, New York City's premier school for performing arts, will perform in Woodville on September 7 as part of his Bach to the Bush tour.
Starting in Gloucester on Saturday, Albrecht will then stop at Woodville Chapel on Sunday followed by Newcastle, Dungog, Singleton and Canberra.
On why he chose Woodville for his performance, Albrecht, whose parents live in Duns Creek, said the chapel was the "perfect location".
"Woodville is kind of at a crossroads, I feel," he said.
"It is one of several smaller venues I will play on my tour.
"The chapel has perfect acoustics."
Albrecht will play a selection of Johann Sebastian Bach's suites for solo cello on Sunday, which will be infused with other short early works for the instrument.
The performance will begin at 4pm.
Tickets, available from www.trybooking.com/FSTO, will cost $20 for adults and $10 for students.
Children aged 10 and under are free.
The Examiner has one double pass to give away to the performance.
To win, send your name and contact details in an email titled "Bach" to ewatts@fairfaxmedia.com.au.
The winner will be notified by 3pm on Friday, September 5.
