Students from kindergarten through to year six dressed up as their favourite superheroes on Friday and took part in the adidas School Fun-Run.
This gave the opportunity for students to raise money for new seats and shade sails for the school, as well as having fun.
Sarah Matthews from the Anna Bay Public School P&C said the adidas School Fun-Run presents provided an excellent platform to get students excited about physical activity.
“I am very proud of the students for getting involved,” Ms Matthews said.
Renee Thompson, president of the school's P&C, said the money would go towards upgrading seats around the grounds.
"Some parents sat on those seats when they came here," she said.
Additionally, the funds raised would enable the school to buy shade sails with the long-term goal being to buy new play equipment.
