LARGE but loveable is how Mary Hickie from Port Stephens Animal Refuge described both dogs featured in this edition's Pet of the Week column.

Ms Hickie said it was not usual to have two of the same dog, in this case Rottweilers, which were not from the same home and were delivered to the refuge at the same time.
The first dog, a two-year-old male named Jim, was surrendered to the refuge.
After living on a farm, and being used to wide open spaces, Jim's owner had to downsize and the dog could not cope with a small, domestic area, Ms Hickie said.
"He is lovely," she said. "He doesn't seem to have a bad bone in his body."
The other dog, a five-year-old female named Storm, was first bought off an online buy, swap, sell site by a woman who realised Storm was a little bit too much to handle with the other animals she owned.
Ms Hickie also described Storm as nice natured.
Both are large dogs and would suit a home with a large backyard and no other small dogs.
Jim and Storm will cost $235 each from the refuge. This includes vaccinations, desexing, microchipping and a lifetime registration.
